DTF transfers are an innovative and efficient way of applying complex and high-quality designs to a variety of fabrics. The process works like this: 1. Printing: The design is printed on special PET film with eco-solvent or water-based inks. 2. Powdering and Curing: Hot melt adhesive powder is added to the print and fixed by a curing process. 3. Transfer: The prepared film is applied to the fabric using a heat press. This method offers durable, flexible and vibrant results on materials such as cotton, polyester and nylon. Regardless of the fabric type, the details and colors of the design are preserved, and there is no fading or cracking after washing.
The versatility of DTF transfers makes them effective on almost any type of fabric. Featured fabrics: - Cotton: Offers an ideal surface for everyday wear. - Polyester: Vibrant results for sportswear and active wear. - Cotton-Polyester Blends: Durable even in demanding fabrics. - Nylon: Effective in products such as bags and jackets. - Lycra & Spandex: Provides freedom of movement with its flexible structure. - Silk & Satin: Delicate and elegant results are obtained in special applications.
It is very easy to apply DTF transfer with a household iron: 1. Placement: Position the design on the fabric and use thermal tape to secure it. 2. Pressing: Set the iron to the cotton/linen setting (no steam) and place parchment paper over the design and press firmly for 20 seconds. 3. Peeling: Carefully peel the transfer while it is hot or when it cools. 4. Final Pressing: For durability, place parchment paper over the design again and press for 15 seconds.
DTF transfers are designed to withstand regular use and washing. Durability factors that stand out: - Long Lasting Adhesion: High quality adhesives and inks ensure the design is wash and abrasion resistant. - No Cracking: Stretches with the fabric to prevent cracking. - 50+ Wash Resistance: Long lasting with proper application and care.
With proper care, DTF transfers: - 2 to 5 years, - Can withstand 60+ washes. Cold washing, low temperature drying and gentle detergent use prolong its life.
The ideal temperature range for DTF transfer application is 300°F to 350°F (148°C to 177°C). These temperatures ensure the best results, both without damaging the fabric and stabilizing the design.
